PROBLEM:
The process of planning the stewards is very labor intensive. The process is also done manually and thus is susceptible to fraud and errors.

SOLUTION
For years PSV has been very satisfied with the schedule it makes for the stewards with Softbrick. Previously everything was done manually in an Excel sheet. Now the nearly 500 staff members are scheduled using Softbrick software and all the calculations are done automatically. This saves PSV a lot of costs.

Everything was done manually before PSV worked with Softbrick. It was an error- and fraud-sensitive process, which was also very labor intensive. PSV kept track of all the volunteers and their remuneration by collecting their signatures.

GOALS:
PSV now has a lot more insight into the monthly steward costs and is it now possible to have a report after each game. The administration has an overview of the differentiation of costs for the Dutch and European competitions but also for the competitions of Young PSV. The costs are now better monitored. PSV also gets valuable insight into the difference between, for example, a match of PSV and a concert. There are always two people around from the technical support service, and there is a separate cost center for them.

PLANNING
A couple of days before a match, PSV will use the standard hours in Softbrick. On match day all the stewards have to register. As a result, PSV knows exactly which steward worked and for how long. The extra hours a steward works after a match are now correctly registered and the steward gets paid extra for that work.

The clocks register everything, which ensures the club has a good understanding of exactly which stewards are in the stadium if something were to happen.
